Each Blackbear United team has a parent who serves as the Team Administrator. That volunteer parent is the primary liaison with the coach and makes all of the logistical arrangements for the team activities. This includes sending weekly reminders for training and games, collecting fees, ordering uniforms and equipment, preparing the SoccerMaine roster and passes, coordinating games with the team coach and other teams, applying to tournaments, arranging lodging for overnight travel with club hotel coordinator, and fulfilling State Cup requirements.

The Team Administrator position is challenging and rewarding, but also very demanding. By the second week of each session, Administrators probably have temporarily lost their sense of humor, but it returns. If you are part of the Blackbear family, please appreciate the hard work the Administrators perform to make your child's soccer experience a good one. Also, volunteer to help with tasks that can be parceled out, i.e., setting up a phone tree, helping with fundraisers etc..

We treasure our Administrators dearly, so please treat them with courtesy and fairness.
