Pepino's Pre Academy Program

The Blackbear United "Pepino's" Pre Academy Program will introduce and help develop the young soccer player.  Licensed coaches guide your children into the world of soccer.  Players are divided by age, 4/5/6 year olds and 7/8/9 year olds.  Each weekday session, players will play "FUN" games that focus on dribbling, passing and shooting.  Incorporated into each session are balance, coordination and "team work" lessons.  Saturday mornings, players are split into ability appropriate teams and play matches against each other.  Our philosophy is that the game is the best teacher, we let the players explore the game in a FUN and SAFE environment.  

The Pre Academy program will be run under the direction of Seth Brown.  Seth is a United States Soccer Federation "A" license and "Youth" licensed coach.  He has worked with youth players in Maine, North Dakota, Montana and Georgia.  "Players at this age need the freedom to express themselves on the field.  Many of them are discovering soccer for the first time.  It is vital that our program nurtures their desire to touch a ball and have FUN", stated Seth.

All sessions are on Wednesdays from 4:30pm-5:30pm and Saturdays from 9am-10am.  The program does break for school scheduled breaks, please contact us for a complete list of dates for each session.

Three sessions are offered for the 2011/2012 Pre Academy Program

Session 1 - Start Date October 12, 2011/ End Date January 21, 2012 - (12) Weeks

Session 2 - Start Date February 1, 2012/ End Date March 31, 2012 - (8) Weeks

Session 3 - Start Date April 3, 2012/ End Date June 2, 2012 - (8) Weeks

Each session costs $125.00 or you can sign up for "All Sessions" at the reduced rate of $250.00.  In addition you can purchase a complete Pre Academy Kit (Jersey, Short, Socks) for $25.00.  To register visit the BBU online store and secure your players spot today.  Each session will be capped at 40 total players, we strongly recommend registering early and taking advantage of the "All Sessions" package.

All sessions take place at the Fields4Kids indoor facility in Bangor, ME.  Fields4Kids is located behind Beal College and shares the same automobile entrance.  Fields4Kids is located at 129 Farm Rd, Bangor, ME 04401.
