Coaching Education

Blackbear United is dedicated to not only player development but also the professional development of our coaches. In 2011 we will be offering a variety of ways for coaches to improve their skills.

Coaching Sessions -  Beginning in January of 2011, Blackbear United will offer two monthly coaching sessions on various topics including a variety of topics, plus topics that you decide.  Sessions will be 1.5 hours and coaches will be expected to play as players in sessions.  Some guest players will be brought in from time to time. These sessions will be run by Premier Program Director and A License coach MJ Ball.  Contact MJ to get a specific topic of your choice covered.  

Sessions are open to all Blackbear coaches and parents interested.

Licenses - Blackbear United will fully fund D and E licenses for Blackbear United Coaches and will reimburse coaches over time for additional licenses they aquire.

Community Coaches - Blackbear United is developing an instructional program for community area coaches. This program will be geared to help area coaches improve on their skills while enabling them to further guide their players in the game.
